COHRI Hosts 5th Annual CME Conference

The fifth annual Concentra Occupational Health Research Institute (COHRI) Continuing Medical Education (CME) conference will be held at the beautifully renovated Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile hotel, located on the Magnificent Mile in Chicago, Illinois, from Friday, August 22 to Sunday, August 24, 2008.

Ellison Wittels, MD, back by popular demand, will offer a pre-conference Department of Transportation Medical Update. The conference will feature a symposium on low back pain, with presentations by several authors of the just-released 2nd Edition of Low Back Pain, An Evidence-based, Biopsychosocial Model of Clinical Management.

There will be several presentations related to the increasingly important focus on the overall health and productivity of workers. Also included will be urgent care updates and a review of the health effects of popcorn flavoring agent diacetyl.
